But quite a few dungeons with best in slot gear or at least near 's plausable. Granted, this would be all VERY difficult and painful to get by on. As for DPS, it isn't great but THM still puts out decent damage even before becoming a Black mage. With that, a very carful gladiator or maruader could in theory get by without tank stance since you do get taunts and such prior to being getting a job. Granted you won't be able to switch to doing much dps since you have to keep a constant eye on the tank, but it's functional to heal this way.
Generally a WHM only needs cure and medica to be functional. I don't think so, as no job crystals means no tank stance, dps don't get any of their dps skills, only healer would be CNJ without half their kit.Īnd considering the people doing raba right now, to stand even half a chance you'd need only the best of the best to try it out and survive the dps checks. That's not something I want to personally test, though. I've seen an all tank run clear Rabanastre, so an all class run might be possible. But I can see having one person being able to get away with only being a class, but not more then that. Technically I think it would be possible to maybe at least level 60 content. I'm half tempted to get some friends and see just how bad it would go. But the in the case of healing you would have all the healing spells you would need to do the job, just none of the emergency spells in case something goes wrong. But it would be so painful I couldn't see anyone doing it outside of the raw challenge. I know as a conjurer you would have the bare minimum to do your role at least. I dunno, you certainly COULD go without using the soul stone to unlock the job. The "choice" of upgrading to your job is really just an illusion, it's a necessity. That's been removed, so no you can literally only play one class and get it to 70 as your job without touching anything else. Most of the classes past level 30, such as White Mage, Black Mage, or Scholar, are unlocked by leveling two different jobs to 30 and completing a quest. In fact, you must switch jobs at some point. The ability to simply say "I want to be a today" and switch, without all the hassle of changing or rolling a new character is a godsend. Ryunorite a écrit :Absolutely! Basically look at the list Justin gave and know that classes are basically part of the leveling process to become the job as he outlined. It all sounds much more complicated then it actually is.
The newer 'jobs' basically just give you that second item you need off the bat, so you don't need to level a class to get to the job. Basically as if you were changing classes. To progress from class to job you get another item that unlocks new hotbars and such. Basically for the starting classes you just need the weapon. If you start as a Gladiator and don't switch classes, at approximately level 30 (you have to complete the main scenario quest Sylph-management as well) you'll get access to your job - Paladin Jobs are different from classes, just to be clear
